Well, I finally went ahead and put the final nail in Marlin Gaming's coffin. The site is officially discontinued and has been replaced with a new .com site in order to facilitate the transition to one site that I've been pushing for the past few months. So, just let me explain a few things.
1. marlingaming.net still works, so you don't have to update your favorites if you don't want to.
2. aerieoftheroc.com is the new site which will be hosting all of Marlin Gaming's old information.
So, from now on, just think Aerie of the Roc = aerieoftheroc.com and everything works easier. Cool? Great!

Because I finally find myself with a little time on my hands, I have made the decision to redo the splash page. It is not finished yet, but I think I can settle on a logo for Aerie of the Roc at last. From this day forward, the flaming feather will be the universal symbol for the Aerie. Now for the second announcement; I am going to do away with Marlin Gaming. I have little hope that any new, meaningful content will grace the pages of the Aerie, so it only makes sense to condense the site. Therefore, I am basically going to be turning the site into an online resume over the next semester. Any opinions or suggestions are welcome. Keep checking back over the next few days to see if anything has changed. For those of you who are not yet finished with your finals (like me) good luck.

No matter what problem befalls us, we always seem to recover from it! Well, it seems that The Nest is finally going to be back to some state of normalcy. There are a lot of lost posts that I’m not counting on returning. At this point, I think it is best to continue things normally as if nothing had happened. A winter skin seems fairly well-liked. I am starting to wonder if there is a way to transfer The Nest to a newer invisionfree server to help prevent further forum troubles. I will look into that in the coming days. As always, thanks for being patient everyone.

Well, like I said, there are a few announcements I need to make. Most of the news is not the happiest I have ever posted, but sometimes that happens.
Anyhow, I would just like to let everyone know that there will be no Aerie on Air this semester. I am going to be focusing on classes more than anything, so I do not need any more distractions. Having said that, I am also going to be giving up on any ideas I had about writing new walkthroughs. Truth be told, I simply do not have the time for such an endeavor. I plan to keep up with the skin revision for Aerie of the Roc as well as the abridged version of The Lost Age walkthrough.
Beyond these two projects, I would like to request assistance with any further walkthrough projects that may arise. If you would like to write a walkthrough and you need a home for it, please be sure to contact me. Thank you.
Lastly, Lor has started a new project to get people more involved with the forums. Adeptation is an interesting experiment and I would like everyone to check it out. After that, do not worry about what the future holds. Aerie of the Roc will wait as long as possible for Golden Sun III. That is a forever promise.

I realize this is late in coming, but I’ve very, VERY busy of late. So in short, I am back home for the summer and I’m working seven days a week. No fun. But hey, I’m in college so that is something to be expected. School turns into the desirable vacation you seek. -_^ The Aerie on Air is going to be unavailable for the summer, so anyone who is confused over that needs to be understanding of the current circumstances. I’m contemplating a new skin for the site because I have a new version of Photoshop to play with. Since Golden Sun is so slow, I figured I might start a spriting project for Fire Emblem. Or maybe I should start by finishing The Lost Age walkthrough I have put off for so long. Let me find the time and I will make some progress. However, I’m also very excited about the REAL Final Fantasy III coming to the states finally. I have beaten the game several times on a translated rom, but this new one for DS looks spectacular. I may just do a walkthrough for this one. Thanks for staying faithful, everyone.

There were quite a few problems with the show this morning. For that reason, it was my decision to cut 40 minutes of music from the online version of the show. However, it all sounds good, so there should be nothing to complain about.
There is some more bad news for everyone, though. Golden Sun Adept's Refuge, run by Kemosabi and Jake has joined Golden Sun Anonymous in the dying sites list. It truly is a sad event. One of the oldest and most interactive fan sites is no longer among us. Worry not, for Aerie of the Roc will wait forever for GS III.
However, there isn't much more to discuss these days. I'm still busy with college and the site will receive only minor bits of my attention to keep things updated sufficiently. See you next Saturday everyone.

This week is my spring break. I’m not going to be online much and there will be no new episodes of the Aerie on Air for two weeks. Old episodes of the Aerie on Air will not be available for download for another week because the server is turned off. Thanks for understanding everyone. Take it easy and have some fun (because that’s what I’m doing). Talk to you again in a week. ^_^

There haven’t been many updates in a while. I apologize for that. To a point, it can’t really be helped, though. I’ve been busy these past three weeks and it gets difficult. Weekly news updates should at least be on the schedule because it is once again time for The Aerie on Air to resume weekly shows. Show XXXII finished this morning with the aid of my two co-DJs. I expect this new semester to have a lot of variety that wasn’t present in older shows. Enjoy.

I’m going to be going on holiday break this Friday. Therefore, if anyone wants access to the Aerie on Air database, you had better get your downloads finished before then. The database will be back up and running sometime after the New Year. I’ve uploaded a new wallpaper for everyone to enjoy. The wallpaper database is still small but I do my best to keep quality high (despite the fact that it’s all my own works). Other than that I won’t be doing many updates during the break. I’ll do my best to keep working on the site, but don’t expect to see much of me. To everyone on the forums, that means the mods are in charge. Everyone have a happy holiday season. ^_^

Well, I’ve already decided that Show XXXI will be the last one for this semester. It’s a dedication to the music of Nabuo Uematsu. I hope you all enjoy it. Perhaps I will be able to get some site project stuffs done during Christmas break coming up in two weeks. Other than that, I don’t foresee much happening in the future. I’ve updated the splash page a little bit if you want to check it out. Just go to Marlin Gaming. Thanks to everyone for supporting The Aerie on Air this season and expect the show back on air sometime in January.

I’m going on my Thanksgiving vacation tomorrow. That means no Aerie on Air this coming Sunday (or the Sunday afterwards). I’m going to be mostly unavailable during the next week. I’ll give everyone another notification when I’m back on my good computer. Until then, take it easy everyone and have a Happy Thanksgiving.

Well, it seems that the Aerie on Air show XXX went well. However, I’ve been brainstorming lately and it struck me that I need something that will draw me back to website building. For that reason, I’m thinking of redesigning the skin for Aerie of the Roc. I’m thinking that the traditional red should come back. And while I’m at it why not go a little farther? I’ll listen to others’ opinions on this, but I’ve recently been debating changing the site’s name. Not a major change mind you, but something to make the content of the site more associated with Golden Sun. I mean, come on. “Aerie of the Roc,” doesn’t sound very “Golden Sunny.” For that reason I’m going to propose “Mars Lighthouse: Aerie of the Roc.” I find it doubtful that any work will be done by me for at least several weeks when the fall semester finally ends and Christmas rolls around. But then maybe I’ll have a clearer picture of what direction I’d like to direct the site. Until then, keep in mind that the Aerie on Air show XXXI will be delayed two weeks until after Thanksgiving break.

Finally back on the air. The Aerie on Air Show XXIX went well. I decided to go with dark themes and I’d like to think I did a good job of picking the best of the best. Don’t forget that I always welcome requests for upcoming shows. In other news I can’t really say there is much happening. Lately I’ve been considering changing the site’s focus a little more. But before that I ought to fully integrate ikillkenny’s walkthrough into the Aerie. I suppose that if I actually come out and say what I want to do, then maybe it’ll get done. The forums have been unfortunately quiet of late. I can’t do much about that. Special thanks to those who are sticking with the site through this tough time.
